On our last night of vacation my family was tired of seafood and we all had a hankering for some Chinese. I found this place, which offered delivery to our condo. We order $65 worth of food which included a large order of general tso chicken, a qt of hot and sour soup, crab ragoons, a large order of each vegetable, chicken, and house Lo mein, a combination plate of each sesame chicken and beef and broccoli and a small order of house fried rice. We got a ton of food for our money and had a lot of leftovers. When I called and ordered they told me it would be a 45-60 min wait on delivery which was no big deal. It turned out to be an hour and 45 min wait, but still not a big deal. The food tasted like what you expect Chinese take out to be. My family thought the sauces on the meats were better than what we are used to at home. When vacationing again in north myrtle we would not think twice about ordering from them again! Not fast... but reasonably priced Chinese food that was pretty tasty!

100% the most terrible Chinese food I have ever have. If you are in the area and are looking for great Chinese- look elsewhere. My Sesame chicken had a jelly like sauce covering it all. The chicken teriyaki was also very dry and just not good. Because I have to leave at least one star I'll give them credit for having decent egg drop soup.

We're sitting in our hotel, wanting something to eat. The wife said Chinese, I said, delivery would be sweet. BOOM! China Dragon. We find a menu and the selection is rather large. After a while debating we finally settle on what we want and place the order. 40 minutes later, the food shows up at our door (considering it was about 30 degrees outside, and I didn't want to leave the room, 40 minutes is more than acceptable). We set everything up and dig in. Most of the food was delicious. The Beef w/ Broccoli, probably one of the best I've had. The Egg Drop Soup, fantastic. Unfortunately, the Pork Fried Rice left something to be desired. The taste just wasn't there. It wasn't horrible, just not... good. Eh, everything can't be perfect. Should we be in the area again, I would more than likely order from here. I'll just skip the fried rice and maybe try the Lo-Mein instead.

I am only rating it two stars because the delivery was fast. The food was horrible the chicken looked and tasted old. It has made me and my husband both sick I would not recommend eating here

We ordered here because it was close by, and it was a big mistake. The food had no character: no seasoning, no thought put into ingredients, gummy sauce, and generally no taste. The chow mai fun was just a couple of vegetables and some pork added to mostly-cooked noodles. The shrimp & vegetables had an indeterminate grayish sauce. The dumplings were balls of grease. Etc., etc. We also tried the excellent eNoodles and the Thai Seasons, but that's another review.

Accidently Vegan Friendly Extensive menu and while we did not order from the lunch menu, it appears to be a good value. The adults ordered #119-Vegetable Delight with Brown Sauce. Teens ordered #117 Sautéed Broccoli with Brown Sauce (ie Broccoli Beef without the dead cow). The food quality is good-the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The portions were nice sized and the prices were in line for the area. We were told we could get any sauce with our vegetables when we order, just let them know next time we visit. Only $1 for small or $1.50 for large orders to substitute fried rice for the white rice. It is always made without egg (I would remind them to make it without the dead pig as is served with the combination plates). Don't come here for atmosphere-basic surroundings, adequate seating but no ambiance. Adults and teens were all pleased by the dishes. Great place for vegans to dine with omnivores. Although this place appears to do most of its business as take out, we were there during the lunch rush and did not have to wait an extraordinary amount of time. We will be back next month for sure!

We went here for lunch while on vacation and what a waste. We got there at 245 and while we were perusing the menu, I asked the woman if a drink came with the lunch special she said no but if we wanted lunch we needed to hurry as it ends at 3. ?????????? That should have been our first clue to leave. Food was mediocre. All of it was cold (even though we were eating in) and my husbands beef was raw. She told us it was cold from the air conditioning. Other meals were bland. We felt mistreated because we wanted to save money by ordering from the lunch menu. If you want mediocre raw food, here's your place!

Chinese dragon is a liar. And so are all Chinese restaurants in north myrtle that claim to deliver. How the hell do you not have a delivery place in the entire goddamn city. I hate north myrtle and I hate China dragon

Food is excellent but you never know what to expect on delivery time so I have to give it 3 stars just for that. Wednesday night in October with no events happening and it took 1.5 hours to get my food and when I got it, it was just warm...fine for rice and chicken but less desirable for those amazing crab rangoons they make!!! Sooooo much better when hot. Again, I adore their food but inconsistent delivery satisfaction is a problem...also, no expectation set...had to call after an hour of waiting and was just told, "slow driver...keep waiting" sooooo...

Our go to place for chinese. Food is great. Fast delivery with friendly staff. Obvious that the vegetables and food is fresh This use to be our go to place...I don't know what has happened to this place but their service is horrible!!! we have had several times that we have called in orders that it was more than two hours wait for very basic fare,we expect this during the major tourist season, but in the off-season we do not expect food to be two hours late, this is very unacceptable we do not recommend this restaurant to anyone ever again..if you have problems, they pretend to not speak english.....REALLY???

My husband and I ordered takeout 2 times during our week stay April 2014. We love this place! We ordered, jumbo shrimp w/broccoli, chicken chow mein, pork egg foo yung, pork fried rice, wonton soup, shrimp toast and crab ragoons. The crab ragoons were not the best I've had but everything else was! I am amazed that the shrimp were actually jumbo in my shrimp and broccoli ($5.50 for a pint). My husband said the chicken chow mein was the best he's ever had! The shrimp toast was a little greasy but we loved it....much better than any other place we've tried. The food was prepared quickly, service was super friendly and we can't wait to return next year. You won't be disappointed!!

We ordered from here on our Half Marathon trip on our final night - we did not feel like going out and wanted some good food that would be delivered right to our door. Welcome China Dragon - they delivered right to Seawatch. Two orders of General Tso's Chicken, two egg rolls, white rice, crab Rangoon and friend cheesecake - The food was delicious and just as you would expect if you ordered from any better than average Chinese restaurant. The difference maker - our delivery lady was fast, early than expected and before entering our unit, she took her shoes off before coming in!!! Now that was cool. Thank you. I will order from them again when I am in Myrtle and want to stay in for a night of NBA All Star Basketball on TV and good ole Chinese food to fill the belly up! Yum! Yum!

Just finished my dinner. It was horrible!!! Food was greasy and tasteless. Wontons in soup were rubbery. Egg rolls the worst I've ever had. They were saturated with grease. The only reason we ordered from here was it had good reviews. It must be the owners writing the reviews. I find it hard to believe that the reviews are from customers. To top it off they had a 178 dollar charge on our credit card for a $17.85 bill. Beware! Do not order from here, it's a waste of your money.

Fabulous, fresh, tasty, Chinese food. Not overcooked like much Chinese food is. Quickly delivered. More quickly devoured.

ugh... after reading all the reviews and seeing such good ratings, I had to try this place. subpar. chicken was tough and chewy. most all of it was dark meat. generals tso's was just ok. sesame chicken was blah. and orange chicken was drowning in syrup. :/

Quick delivery, cheap prices and delicious food. Honestly, some of the best Chinese I've ever had. A great option for those looking to take a break from long lines and pricey entrees. Free delivery for orders over $12.

If you are looking for atmosphere, this is not the place. However, if you are looking for really delicious Chinese food served by friendly people, then don't pass this restaurant up! We found this restaurant off a Google search, so didn't know what it looked like until we got there. It's a tiny store in a little strip mall, next door to a pawnshop and across the street from two fireworks places in North Myrtle Beach. The inside is tile, with a giant menu board and a few tables pushed against a wall. It looks like a carryout place, and probably for the most part, is. But don't let that keep you from eating here. We had the house mein fun (noodles), wonton soup, crab rangoon and general tso's chicken. All were wonderful. The mein fun had tons of shrimp, fresh vegetables--they tasted actually like fresh vegetables!--and perfectly cooked noodles. It was a light, yet very substantial meal. We couldn't stop eating it. The crab Rangoon were obviously homemade, hot, crisp, and had a great cream cheese and crab flavor, with just right right balance between filling and wrapper. The chicken was crispy; and had a nice sauce, just as expected, but came with fried rice that had some kind of unusual seasoning that elevated even that simple dish. The soup was in the usual chicken broth, but had large delicious dumplings filling the container--no fighting over who gets the most wontons!--also again, with a good ratio of filling to wrapper and obviously homemade. One last note: the service was very friendly. Our counterperson even made up sweet tea just the way I liked it (she let me try it first, since I like it not as sweet as typical sweet tea) and then gave it to me in a giant carryout tub. We'll be back!

We ordered from this place one night during vacation. Just as Jennifer mentioned in her review, we also found this place from a Google search while looking for Chinese food. I ordered the food for pickup via phone, and like any good Chinese restaurant, it was ready in 10 minutes :) I ordered Kung-Pao-Chicken, my benchmark, extra-hot, and with a couple of other meals. The food was excellent. It was the traditional American-Chinese style and was extremely tasty. The order was just as I asked for --extra hot, and with a side of hot-sauce just in case. The meal had a nice rich sauce and plenty of it. If you're not into the thick gravy like Chinese meals, you might want to ask for light on the brown sauce. The restaurant itself wasn't a P.F. Changs inside; however, I wasn't looking for a nice restaurant. I just wanted some Chinese food. If you're after a nice sit-down place, this might not be your spot. It restaurant appeared to be relatively clean and the staff were extremely polite and efficient. The price of the food was pretty typical with the entrees being around $8-$9 dollars for chicken, seafood and beef. If you're looking for good, cheap takeout, this is it...

Your average Chinese take-out, nothing new or fancy. You likely have one just like this one local to yourself back home. Be warned that when the menu says the dish will be hot & spicy, it truly is packing a fair amount if heat.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
